As a native European, I could never resist the magnetic pull of the Alps.As soon as the opportunity arose, I started planning our first dream holiday vacation in the Alps.

But as it turned out, it was not so simple.

Although the French, Italian and Swiss Alps boast a huge variety of accommodations, finding the right one for my family turned out to be quite the challenge.

We were a young family with small children traveling with other extended family members and friends and finding a place that would accommodate our needs was a huge hassle.

But the vacation itself was every bit as magical as I had imagined, and I knew that I would not be able to stay away for long.

Hours upon hours of research, endless frustration and headaches, and years of trial and error followed. But over time I became adept at finding the perfect rental that would suit our needs.
